Zhisheng Yang

Zhisheng Yang received the B.E. degree in optoelectronics from the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), Beijing, China, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in communication and information system from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), Beijing, in 2016. His Ph.D. research work, performed at the institute of Information Photonics and Optical Communications, was focused on distributed optical fiber sensors. In 2016, he joined the Group for Fibre Optics (GFO), Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, as a Postdoctoral Researcher. His main research interests include optical fiber sensing, and nonlinearities in optical fiber. He has authored or co-authored more than 40 refereed journal and international conference publications.
